Produced and distributed by Shariff's of Bungoma, a town west of Eldoret near the Ugandan border. Shariff’s also produced singles on the Editions Bikos and Editions Shariff labels. Google found a Shariff Supermarket still in the town.

These singles are in Bukusu, the Bukusu being a sub-tribe of the Luhya.

Details of BUN 209 and BUN 210 arrived in April 2011, courtesy of Sofiane of Groovy Record in Paris. Both of these bands also recorded for the Babakusu label and its page carries a bit of information about Wasike Wa Musungu’s career. Sofiane also supplied details of BUN 006 in May 2011. Why it carries such a different catalogue number to the other singles is unclear.

BUN 208 appeared on Ebay in April 2011. It is presumably the same band as Mbirira Super Stars, who recorded for Editions Baluhya.

BUN 211 turned up on the CD and LP.com website in May 2012 and is by a Bukusu band who don’t feature anywhere else in this discography to date.
