Evidently this was first an outlet for the Charles Ray Kassembe-led offshoot from Orch Super Volcano, which either split off from that group in 1976 or carried on after the death of Mbaraka Mwinshehe in 1979.

The label was run by Matunda Music Store in Nairobi, the same company that produced records on the Muthetheni Special, Esambo Ya Babukusu and Ngatata labels.
