An AP Chandarana of Kericho label that put out a host of records by Luo benga bands in the 1970s. One of the bands to record most consistently for the label were the Kawere Boys, while one of the most intriguing is Orch PND Jazz, who appear to have been led by Ondielo Jeudi and to have been mentored by DO Misiani, who both performed with the band and wrote songs for it.
The Kenya Gazette, which lists government activities and debates in parliament, also covers registered trademarks, albeit in a haphazard fashion. The Kenya Gazette for 15 May 1998, for instance reveals that Hundhwe was registered as a trademark on 29 October 1975, which seems a bit late in the day for a label that put out most of its records in the early 1970s.
It lists the three principals of AP Chandarana & Sons as being Arvindkumar P Chandarana, Mansukhari P Chandarana and Rasikkumar P Chandarana and notes that all are British citizens.
