Awino Lawi led the Victoria C Kings, a splinter group from Ochieng Nelly and Collela Mazee’s Victoria Jazz, so it is not too surpirsing to find a label bearing his name. The Nairobi-based Scarlet Recording Services behind the label, though, do not feature on any other label as far as I am aware.
