One of East Africa’s most popular bands, Les Mangelepa recorded primarily for ASL, but also cut sides for Editions Jojo and this label.

The best introduction to their music is the CD Endurance (RetroAfric, 2006).

Bonzo & Geraldi’s Orch Lombe Lombe are much less well-known, though they also recorded for His Master’s Voice, Kung Fu and Zombe, the latter being a label dedicated exclusively to their music.
