Sofiane of Groovy Record supplied details of SOUND 011 in March 2011, which is by a band that so far doesn’t feature anywhere else in this discography, although an Orch Les Kiza did record for Ken-Tanza.  The following month she provided information about SOUND 001 and SOUND 101. Hi Fives one of the Congolese bands that made Kenya their base and recorded extensively in the country, while Nairobi International are less well-known but did record for at least one other label, Rocket.

Alan Wheeler very kindly alerted me to SOUND 010, one of Orch Moja One’s most famous songs. Alan says: “This is the original with horns as on the tape “Best Of Moreno” and not the version on “The Most Beautiful Songs of Africa” compilation.”
