I chanced upon MWE 7-10 in December 2011 on the 45Cat website, a discography that allows visitors to upload details of 7in records in their collection from around the world. That led me to cross-reference it with the AIT master list that Doug Paterson very kindly supplied me with earlier in the year and, bingo, there was MWE 7-10 alongside a long listing of other records on the label.

So this is an AIT label from the mid-1970s, dedicated primarily to Dholuo recordings. The compiler of the AIT master list abbreviated band names throughout the document. I’ve left these entries as they were written, though it is likely that many of the names should include the words Band or Jazz Band too.
