MUYONGA
A label dedicated primarily to recordings by Imara Jazz, a Luhya band led by Shem Tube, who is best known in Europe as a member of Abana Ba Nasery because of the LP Abana Ba Nasery: Classic Acoustic Recordings from Western Kenya (Globestyle, 1989). The red label appears to be reserved for recordings in Luhya; the yellow one for recordings in Kiswahili, the exception to this rule being MUA 7-108. This disc was presumably released following the death of Jomo Kenyatta, first president of Kenya, on 22 August 1978.
All of these records turned up on CD&LP.com in November 2013.
