The label on MU 003, a Kikuyu single that turned up on Ebay in March 2009, doesn’t give much away about its provenance. All I can add, then, is that Lawrence Nduru’s band also cut sides for Kalamindi, Kirinyaga, Nguirubi and Sawa Sawa Sound among others. See the Bands Index for an up-to-date list.
