As the label name indicates, this was an outlet for Kikuyu singles by, with the exception of the Kilimambogo Brothers, some of the less well-known names on the local music scene. It is a sister label to Akamba Sounds, as both share the same Nairobi PO Box number.

Nyeri Honey Boys also made records for Boxer, while Kiratu recorded for CDKS and Golden Rings Sautika. The other two artists do not feature anywhere else in this discography.

The title of the A-side of the Nyeri Honey Boys single may be incorrect, due to a font substitution in an e-mail that turned accents into question marks.
