This label may be the same or closely related to Kalambya, as both featured Onesmus Musyoki and Joseph Mutaiti‘s Kamba band of the 1970s which also recorded for P & P Sounds and Utanu.

Production credit on KBS 004, though, goes to City Sound, a name usually associated with Kikuyu bandleader and producer Joseph Kamaru.
