A label from Nairobi’s Audio Productions, which was also behind the Boxer, Hit Parade and Mlima labels among others.

Doug Paterson explained the background behind this label in an August 2007 post on the Africambiance forum: “Bana Likasi is the name Lovy Longomba - leader of Super Mazembe - used when he recorded for Audio Productions Ltd. in Nairobi.” The label imprint was Editions Suplov. So it likely the group featured some if not all of Super Mazembe’s musicians. Under the Bana Likasi name, the group also recorded for Editions Chris.
