Frantal Tabu, the credited songwriter EDH 01, played with a number of Congolese bands in Kenya, including Orch Shika-Shika and Orch Boma Liwanza and formed Orch Vundumuna with Sammy Kasule in 1984.

The band seems to have been one of the less well-known Congolese outfits operating in Kenya.It did, however, record at least one other single on the Editions Boyoma label and one on Editions Ya Babeti.

EDH 10 by Issa Juma’s Wanyika Stars, which surfaced on CD&LP.com in late 2015, shows that the label’s output wasn’t limited to Congolese outfits.

ESTHER 01 appeared on Fredrik Lavik’s Afro7 website in July 2016. It is also in Kiswahili, though why it as a unique catalogue number is unclear.
