Nyahururu, a town northeast of Nakuru, gave its name to the Nyahururu Boys, Nyahururu Dynamic Band and Nyahururu Success as well as the Nyahururu Sharp Shooters. It is hard to say whether these were all the same band operating under different names, splinter groups from an original band or entirely separate bands.
