An undated single that turned up on Discogs in February 2016. It is fair to assume that it was manufactured in Kenya rather than Burundi as the label says it was “produced with the participation of Embassy of Burundi in Kenya”.
Burundian poet and singer David Nkiza composed both songs. He fled his homeland in 1972 when government forces massacred more than 120,000 Hutus. He stayed briefly in Rwanda before settling in Kenya in 1974. The Musicology Gitega blog says the B-side of this single, Je T'Attendrai La'-Bas (I Will Wait for You There) was written in 1977 and is one of his most famous songs.
