Both these singles were written by Jimmy Moni Mambo of Orch Shika Shika, a Congolese band based in Kenya who recorded prolifically in the late 1970s and early 1980s, most notably for Hit Parade and Editions Jaca. Orch Pole Pole was more of a studio-based operation.
